The Imperial Service is the Dragon’s claws, a small army formed by tactical units of Judicial and Military Police, criminal regiments, units transferred as reinforcements by the StateEmpire Army, and special troops in direct service to the Emperor. The fundamental mission of this force is to preserve the rule of Law and Order, as well as to defend Yu Jing from any internal or external enemy.

At the request of the Imperial Service Tactical Command, the Gāng Tie Corporation developed the Shŏuhùlóng model (守护龙, “Guardian Dragon”), a compact TAG suited to the needs of that law enforcement unit. Featuring stronger armor than any other Imperial Service unit, this TAG can withstand the most intense firefights, as required by the new operational environments of the Imperial Service forces.

Imperial Service judges are high-ranking functionaries in service of the Emperor with an authority that inspires a great deal of reverence and dread. As such, they enjoy a social standing and influence comparable to that of mid- to high-ranking Party officials.
